I am loving this limited edition “Othoniel Rosa” candle by Diptyque!  A tribute to "La Rose du Louvre," an original created by Jean-Michel Othoniel, diptyque collaborated with the artist on an exclusive eau de toilette perfume & candle honoring the queen of flowers.  It features peppery rose underscored by the pungent, slightly smoky scent of vetiver.

Compared to the regular Diptyque Rose candle, which smells green & floral scent, the Othoniel Rosa is of a mysterious rose kind of scent! Think this way, Othoniel Rosa is a beautiful rose that has a piece of light & sheer chiffon with a mysterious peppery spicy aroma drape over the rose kind of olfactory aesthetics.

Imagine the original Rose candle is for a Disney princess like Belle from Beautiful & a beast, Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella... pretty & delicate.  The Othoniel Rosa is a dark red almost black color rose that blooms in the night and it's for the evil queen of Snow White or Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty .... beautiful, mysterious with a touch of devilish charm.
